Modern Love and Marriage





warm sensual glow
 nights of passionate embraces
and yet it proved
a love too hot to handle




so nearly married
a lovely parking meter
who greets with a smile
but proves insatiable




alas my true love
 is terribly conflicted
a hunger for bills
is complicating our lives
