I hate to be pessimistic about the future but I do not see a good outcome with the erosion of Christian values in western society. Those who declare themselves atheists usually have parents or grandparents who live according to the Christian ethos.It is an unconscious imprint on the atheist which determines his behaviour so unconscioulsy they still have christian values. One only realises this when one lives and is assimilated into a non Christian culture.
ReplyDeleteIn the future with ssm being legal in all the Western countries and, children being brought up in same sex households ,this concept will be foisted upon schools as a normal and natural part of life and the nature of society will change.The Roman Empire with its sanctioned perversion and excesses did not have a good outcome so it is quite likely that we will follow in suit.
I am a moderate and I think your views are rather extreme in claiming that divorce and contraception are responsible for ssm. The abuse of divorce and contraception maybe. It is like banning alcohol or the motor car because when the use of it is abused it leads to disaster.
